Semilla is the origin of our creative adventure…
….and as a Franco-Costa Rican couple, these roots have influenced how we see the world as we journey through our own life.
Several trips abroad – and more recently in Latin America – have always been and will continue to be a source of inspiration for our work.
We have been inspired by different cultures, their crafts, each place pervaded by a palette of colours and range of materials. They fuel our creative energy through which we have molded our work to form our own unique creations.
Semilla is our universe and we would like to share our own journey of discovery and creativity with you. But what is Semilla? The word is Spanish for “seed” but such a simple word does not explain the amazing variety, size and form of “Semilla” that can be found around the world.
